研究方向为珍珠培育与加工,工作重点为珍珠贝基础生物学研究,擅长基因组学、转录组学和表观遗传学分析。作为核心人员参与马氏珠母贝基因组的测序组装和分析工作,基于比较基因组学及表观遗传学(miRNA、DNA甲基化、组蛋白乙酰化等)分析深入探讨贝壳和珍珠形成过程中的矿化和移植免疫机制。
